About Linda
Lotsa Love Pet Care
Description:
I have been a pet owner and animal lover all my life. I grew up caring for my cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, bunnies, fish, an iguana, and a turtle. I have rescued animals from animal services and taken in strays off of the street and returned them to their owners.
I consider my animals to be family members and not possessions. I am extremely sensitive to their feelings and dedicated to their well being. I study and believe in non-aggressive behavior modification. I am a dedicated volunteer at the Contra Costa Animal Services Department, where I assist the public in reuniting with their lost pets. I introduce people to available animals, while giving them as much information and back ground as possible on the pets they are interested in adopting. I spend time socializing the animals, learning their habits, likes, dislikes, and problem behaviors. I foster kittens that have lost their mothers and need to be bottle fed, until they are big enough to be adopted.
I enjoy spending my time giving animals the same love and comfort they have always given me. You can be sure that I will treat your pets with love and respect, just as if they were my own.

Linda has watched my dogs on several occasions and I can't say enough about how well she takes care of all of my mutts, my cat and even our snake!
She is attentive and caring...the dogs love her and they are well loved by her!!!
Utilize this special lady with your pets and your happy home will stay that way!

Two years ago I was down and out. I just lost my job and had to move because I could not afford the rent. I had been through this kind of thing before. I once again almost lost my beloved pets forever. I called every place imaginable to find AFFORDABLE, TRUSTWORTHY care for my pets. I needed to have them boarded for a of months. Because of life circumstances, I have almost lost my cats 4 times in my entire life.
I was desperate, running out of time and money. Do I euthanize my cats. I found a job and place, but the place does not take pets. Mind you my cats are 12 and 13 I said my last prayer and called the Martinez Human Society and spoke with a dispatcher. I was in tears and so distraught. One of the dispatchers tried to cover the phone and I could hear her say "Linda"! I have a lady on the line who has very little money and needs help with kenneling her cats "Sammy" and "Baby John" while she gets on her feet. I could feel myself sweat profusely.
Linda got on the phone and she gave soft voice said "hello" and asked a few questions. There was no discussion of money. I burst into tears and waited for her response and she said, Yes, I will help you!
She was my Angel from heaven.
My two cats were given another chance and the best care any animal could possible receive.
Her mother and she lived down from the Human in Martinez. Both are of English decent. The house is immaculate, a nice cat room with lots of toys and a wonderful comfy bed. In the living room there were more toys and a nice chair to curl up in by the fireplace.
My cats got the best treatment and the best care. I could never ever go anywhere else. Hopefully this will never happen again.
Not enough money could pay this woman what she deserves. I would only have her watch my pets.
When I came to visit my pets at her house they were so happy playing they hardly noticed I was there until I got them home.
She is a true humanitarian and we are happy ever after!!!

Linda is easy to work with, and Rocky clearly loves her. When she picks him up (I'm recovering from knee surgery, so cannot give him his mid-day walk), she treats him with affection, and her post-walk written reports are great.
